ECU unit (CDI Ignition)
Good condition, has been used previously
The CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition) or ECU is part of the ignition system and can be seen as the motorcycle's computer. From the outside it looks like a small black box, but a lot of information is processed inside. The CDI works together with sensors, the ignition coil and thus also the spark plug. It receives data about the engine speed and based on that calculates when the spark must take place to start the combustion process. The ignition coil receives the signal by means of pulses and sends a high voltage to the spark plugs, which then produce a spark and jump to the air-fuel mixture. The timing of the combustion process is critical to the engine's performance, and that timing is due to the CDI.
