The Yuasa battery conventional YB18-A has a starting current of 235A and a capacity of 18Ah. Yuasa is known for their high quality and is therefore often used as a first mounting battery. This YB18-A battery must first be filled with 1.2L battery acid before installation. This is not included as standard. Be careful with the acidity of the battery, because battery acid is a very harmful product. Therefore, protect your eyes and skin while filling and do not spill on clothing. After filling the Yuasa battery, it needs some time to relax. the battery is then approximately 75% charged. Therefore, before mounting the battery in the motorcycle, first fully charge it with a suitable battery charger. A battery to which insufficient attention has been paid during commissioning has a much shorter lifespan. A battery that has reached the end of its life will cause problems with starting the motorcycle. In addition, electrical and especially electronic parts are very sensitive to a malfunctioning battery. If you think you will not use your motorcycle for a longer period of time, such as during the winter break, charge it throughout the winter with a trickle charger.
