Full description

The conventional 12V Yuasa battery YB16HL-A-CX is made for various Harley Davidson Softail and Dyna models from 1991 to 1996. This battery therefore also has a high starting current of 240A and a capacity of 19Ah. This battery is supplied without battery acid that must be added. 1.2L of acid is required for this battery. Fill the acid into the battery according to the supplied manual. Be careful with the use of battery acid, because it is an aggressive product. Protect your skin, eyes and clothing. After filling the battery, it needs half an hour of rest. Then fully charge it with a suitable battery charger within a few hours. A battery that has received insufficient attention during commissioning has a much shorter lifespan. A battery that is at the end of its life has trouble starting the motorcycle. In addition, electrical and especially electronic parts are very sensitive to a malfunctioning battery. It is therefore possible that your engine does not run smoothly due to a battery that is defective or almost defective. If you think you will not be using your motorcycle for a long time, such as during the winter break, charge it all winter with a trickle charger. The charger keeps the battery fit by slightly discharging it and then recharging it through a cycle determined by the manufacturer. The costs for power & charger are considerably lower than a new battery!
