The Yuasa battery 6N6-3B-1 is a conventional 6V battery with a capacity of 6Ah. Yuasa batteries are often used as a first mounting battery because of the high quality they deliver. A conventional battery must first be filled with battery acid before installation in the motorcycle. This also applies to this battery and must therefore be filled with 300ml of acid. Pay close attention when filling the battery. Battery acid is an aggressive liquid. Protect your skin and eyes. After filling the Yuasa 6N6-3B-1 battery, it needs about half an hour to relax. After half an hour, the battery is about 75% charged. To give the battery a good start, it is wise to first fully charge it with a suitable 6V trickle charger. A battery to which insufficient attention has been paid during commissioning has a much shorter lifespan. A battery that has reached the end of its life will cause problems with starting the motorcycle. In addition, electrical and especially electronic parts are very sensitive to a malfunctioning battery. If you think you will not use your motorcycle for a longer period of time, such as during the winter break, charge it throughout the winter with a trickle charger. The charger keeps the battery fit by discharging it slightly and then recharging it through a cycle determined by the manufacturer.
