The Yuasa 51913 motorcycle battery is praised for its long life and high starting capacity. This battery is often prescribed for BMW motorcycles, because the heavy boxers require a lot of capacity from a battery during starting. It is therefore also very important to keep the battery in good condition to get heavy starting 2 cylinders working. A battery that is not fully charged and has to do heavy work, quickly breaks down and must be replaced. That is unfortunate and unnecessary. If your battery should still break after years of loyal service, then this Yuasa 51913 is a great replacement. The battery is supplied without acid that must be added to the battery before charging. Do not charge the battery immediately afterwards! This is detrimental to the lifespan. Allow the battery to rest for an hour and then disconnect the battery. Only start charging with a battery charger and install it in the motorcycle when the battery is full. This battery should be filled with 1L.
