The rear shock absorber is attached to the motorcycle's swingarm and is part of the ride comfort. While driving you will encounter different roads: one of poorer quality than the other. The motorcycle absorbs all blows by means of a suspension, so that the motorcycle remains steerable. But to prevent the springs from bouncing, a shock absorber is included to dampen the suspension around it. There is a cylinder filled with gas or oil in the shock absorber. During compression, gas or oil is forced through narrow openings by means of a piston. This exerts counter pressure and absorbs the spring movement, so you can continue to ride stably and safely.
