The Gearbox MOS2 from Motul is an 80W90 transmission oil. This gearbox oil is also suitable for cardan drives. The strong resistance to oxidation, together with the anti-wear in this Gearbox MOS2 oil, is due to the Motul added additives. These special additives ensure a good lubricating and cooling effect. This makes this oil suitable for making optimal use of the life of your cardan shaft or gearbox during normal driving. For a good cooling and lubricating effect of the oil it is important that the correct oil is used and that it is regularly topped up and changed. If you do not know which transmission oil is suitable for your motorcycle, check the manual for your motorcycle. Here you can also immediately find the refresh interval. This often differs per motorcycle. When it is time to change the transmission oil, you will have to remove the old oil first. This is best done when the engine is warm. Warm oil flows out more easily than cold oil and it also takes more dirt with it. Make sure that the engine is no longer hot. Doing so can cause painful burns as the oil can splash.
