With the Hiflofiltro Oil Filter HF164 you can easily replace the original oil filter of your motorcycle. Hiflofiltro is the very first manufacturer of oil filters to pass the TÜV test. This inspection means that the Hiflofiltro oil filters are just as good, if not better than the original oil filter of your motorcycle. A good and clean oil filter in combination with fresh oil is one of the most important things of the motorcycle. Oil ensures that the engine is not only cooled, but also lubricated. If the oil is not properly filtered, soot, dust, fuel and other debris will pass through the engine with the oil. With the Hiflofiltro Oil Filter HF164 you ensure that the oil is not contaminated for a relatively long time. However, you will have to adhere to the maintenance interval as indicated in the manual for your motorcycle. To make it easier to loosen and tighten the Hiflofiltro Oil Filter HF164 later, you can use a 76 mm oil filter wrench. Before starting to changing the oil and oil filter, it is best to let the engine run warm (not too hot). If the oil is warmer, it will come out more easily as the oil gets thinner the warmer it gets. You can use an oil collector to collect the old oil. To prevent the rubber rim of the new oil filter from drying out, you can rub it with a little oil.
