The radiator is part of the cooling system and is located on the front of the motorcycle, connected to the engine block. A lot of heat is released during the combustion process and without the radiator the engine will quickly overheat. Coolant is pumped through the engine block by means of a water pump. The warm coolant enters the top of the radiator and flows down small tubes. Thanks to the head wind or the connected fan, in combination with fins on the radiator, the liquid is cooled and pumped back to the engine block where the process starts again.
